Texas ex Street charged with DWI in Austin
Juston Street, a former relief pitcher for the Texas Longhorns who was in the Oakland A's minor-league system last year, was charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning after a car accident.

At about 3 a.m. on Saturday, Street was driving a white pick-up truck westbound on the 600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard when the front of his truck struck the right side of another westbound vehicle, according to a police affidavit.

Street's eyes were watery, glassy and dilated, and he had a strong alcoholic-beverage odor, according to the affidavit. He lost his balance during one sobriety test, and told the officer that he had consumed four beers and a pharmaceutical called Adderall.

According to the police report, Street had no previous DWI arrests. He was released on Saturday on personal recognizance.

Street is the son of former UT football star James Street and the younger brother of major-league pitcher Huston Street.
