 DENVER -- The Colorado Rockies announced their minor league coaching staff for the 2009 season Tuesday. The new members of the Rockies minor league staff are Gabe Bauer, Craig Bjornson, Scott Fletcher, Josh Guterman and Darryl Scott. Additionally, Bryan Harvey, who served as pitching coach for Single-A Asheville in 2007, will return to the organization in the same capacity at Dou ble-A Tulsa. Returning to Colorado's minor league staff in a new role are Chris Dovey, Bobby Knoop, Doug Linton, Rick Mathews, Bo McLaughlin, Dave Schuler and Billy Whitehead. Mathews, 61, served as the Rockies bullpen coach from 2003-2008. An original Rockie, Mathews has been with the franchise for all 17 seasons.
