--1B Todd Helton went 2-for-4 Thursday, leaving him three hits away from 2,000 in his career. 

--SS Troy Tulowitzki didn't play Thursday after suffering a contusion on his left elbow when Astros reliever Alberto Arias hit him with a pitch in the seventh inning Wednesday.
