 An ironic twist of the early season is that although right-hander Jason Marquis (2-0, 1.93 ERA) got lit up during spring training, he has been the Rockies' best pitcher. Marquis is 2-5 with a 3.41 ERA in his career against the Diamondbacks. Arizona right-hander Jon Garland (1-1, 8.44), formerly of the White Sox and Angels, has never faced any of the current Rockies .
