--The Rockies reached season highs in runs (12) and hits (17) Monday night and went 10-for-23 with runners in scoring position, which were also season highs. While winning their past two games, the Rockies have scored 22 runs on 28 hits. The two-game winning streak is the Rockies' longest since they won a season-high three straight April 7-10.
--The eight stolen bases by the Rockies were one fewer than they had in their previous 17 games. --The Rockies are 3-4 at Coors Field and have scored at least 10 runs in all three victories.
--To clear a spot on their 40-man roster for RHP Matt Daley, the Rockies moved RHP Taylor Buchholz from the 15- to the 60-day disabled list on April 22. Hence, Buchholz, who is sidelined with a partial tear of a ligament in his right elbow, is ineligible to return until May 26. That's in keeping with the original estimate when he was injured that Buchholz would be out until about June 1.
--The Rockies are 3-3 this season at Chase Field, where they have three games remaining beginning Sept. 18. Last year, the Rockies went 1-8 at Chase Field while losing 15 of 18 games to the Diamondbacks. Losing the rubber game of a series April 22 kept the Rockies from winning back-to-back series at Chase Field for the first time since 2007 -- May 21-23 and Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
BY THE NUMBERS: 121 -- At-bats without a home run, including 58 this season, for OF Ryan Spilborghs, who ended that drought with a two-run shot in the third inning April 26. It was Spilborghs' first homer since he hit two on July 4 against the Marlins at Coors Field.
