--The Rockies are 3-3 this season at Chase Field, where they have played two three-game series and will return for a final one Sept. 18. Last year, the Rockies went 1-8 at Chase Field while losing 15 of 18 games to the Diamondbacks. The loss kept the Rockies from winning back-to-back series at Chase Field for the first time since 2007 -- May 21-23 and Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
--RHP Manuel Corpas' save Tuesday, his first since April 19, 2008, at Houston, broke a string of eight consecutive blown saves. One was this year on April 12 against the Phillies. --RHP Matt Belisle's win Tuesday was his first in relief since May 18, 2006, for the Pirates and the first by a Rockies reliever this season. They and the Nationals were the only teams without a win from a relief pitcher.
--The Rockies went 31 consecutive innings without leading, a streak that ended when they went ahead 2-0 in the second Tuesday. It was the first time they led since the sixth inning Friday at Dodger Stadium, when they were ahead 3-0 before the Dodgers took a 4-3 lead in the seventh.
But they went 35 consecutive innings without leading at the end of an inning, a streak that ended when they scored four runs in the sixth to go ahead 7-6.
BY THE NUMBERS: 6.87 -- ERA for the Rockies bullpen, which had allowed 11 homers in 36 2/3 innings through April 19.
