--The Rockies were held to one hit in Monday's 4-0 loss at Chicago, the 16th time in franchise history that has happened. They have been no-hit twice -- by Al Leiter of the Marlins on May 11, 1996, and by Hideo Nomo of the Dodgers on Sept. 17, 1996, in the only no-hitter thrown at Coors Field. The last time the Rockies were held to one hit was Sept. 6 at Coors Field by the Astros' Roy Oswalt. Ted Lilly, Angel Guzman, Aaron Heilman and Kevin Gregg became the fifth pitching combination to limit the Rockies to one hit.
BY THE NUMBERS: 3 -- Home runs in 19 at-bats through six games for SS Troy Tulowitzki, who hit three home runs in 151 at-bats in 39 games last year before the All-Star break when he was on the disabled list twice with injuries.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I was trying to go down and in. I just didn't get it in. You miss your spot in the big leagues, they do that to you." -- RHP Huston Street on the 1-1 fastball PH Matt Stairs hit for a game-winning two-run homer on April 12.
