--The nine walks allowed Monday by the Rockies pitchers, including an intentional one by LHP Glendon Rusch, equaled the total they allowed in the three-game series with the Phillies over the weekend. One of the walks in that series also was intentional.

--The Rockies have lost five straight games to the Cubs and nine consecutive games at Wrigley Field. Last year, the Rockies went 1-5 against the Cubs, losing four straight at Wrigley Field and going 1-1 at Coors Field. The last time the Rockies won at Wrigley Field was Sept. 9, 2006, when they beat the Cubs 11-9 in 14 innings.

--The Rockies' string of consecutive games with a home run to start the season ended at six. That is tied for the fourth-longest season-opening streak in franchise history. They began the 1997 with homers in 12 straight games, homered in 11 straight to begin 1994, seven straight in 2001 and six straight in 2004.

--Rockies relievers have allowed seven home runs, the most by any National League bullpen. Nine of the first 13 runs allowed by the bullpen have been scored off home runs.

BY THE NUMBERS: 3 -- Home runs in 19 at-bats through six games for SS Troy Tulowitzki, who hit three home runs in 151 at-bats in 39 games last year before the All-Star break when he was on the disabled list twice with injuries.
